Position Summary
As an Informatics Pharmacist, you will play a key role in optimizing pharmacy information systems and workflows while supporting regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and safe medication practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and optimize pharmacy informatics systems, applications, and workflows
- Enhance medication safety initiatives through technology and process improvements
- Assist with pharmacy automation platforms and automated dispensing systems
- Support drug diversion monitoring and compliance programs
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to improve medication-use processes
- Maintain and optimize medication-related workflows within EHR systems
- Support barcode medication administration and smart infusion pump technologies
- Provide clinical pharmacy support, medication dispensing, and drug information services
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Participate in pharmacy technology implementation and continuous improvement projects

Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program
- Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience
- Kansas Pharmacist License or eligibility for Kansas licensure strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and medication-use processes
- Interest in healthcare technology, automation, and informatics
Preferred Qualifications
- ASHP-accredited residency
- Board Certification in Pharmacy Informatics (BCPIS) or related certification
- Experience with pharmacy automation, informatics, or healthcare IT systems
- Knowledge of EHR platforms and medication management technologies
- Familiarity with controlled substance monitoring and regulatory compliance
