Job Description
*Work with Progression, Inc. get your application bumped to the front of the line* Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II Schriever AFB, CO Pay From: $90,000 Per Year MUST: Experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II 2–5 years of experience developing RMF packages or bodies of evidence Prior hands-on experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or ISSO SAP experience DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II training (or IAT Level II equivalent) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Eligibility for SAP access Active TS/SCI Clearance DUTIES: Support the ISSM across all cyber and authorization-related responsibilities Prepare, review, and continuously update system authorization packages Enforce approved procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware/media Notify ISSM of system or environmental changes that may impact authorization decisions Conduct periodic system reviews to validate compliance with the security authorization package Coordinate system hardware, software, and firmware changes with ISSM and AO/DAO before execution Monitor system recovery actions to ensure security features are fully restored Maintain all IS security documentation—current, accurate, and accessible to authorized personnel Collect, review, and document audit records, including anomaly tracking Attend required technical and security training related to assigned duties Execute cybersecurity portions of self-inspections, including coordination and review of assessment plans Identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and support implementation of corrective countermeasures Prepare reports detailing the status and effectiveness of system security safeguards Perform ISSO duties for both internal and external customer environments Conduct security impact analyses for all configuration changes and provide results to the ISSM *Progression Inc. is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
