We are seeking an Information Systems Technician to help support and maintain our virtual and physical computer this role you will assist with troubleshooting provide technical support to systems administrators and team members and help ensure the reliability of our systems. This is a full-time benefit-eligible onsite position based at our North Logan location.SDL delivers advanced multi-domain solutions to protect national security and enable scientific discovery. Our expertise in satellites sensors and instruments ground systems and data processing and autonomous systems plays a critical role in missions supporting NASA and the Department of Defense. Join our team of engineers scientists technicians and business professionals in our seventh decade of delivering mission success.ResponsibilitiesTest OS and software updates/patches in virtual and physical environment relating to software and hardwareAssist in maintaining computer systems and software applications both virtually and physicallyFollowing and creating documentation for technical issues and resolutionsCollaborate with IT team members to implement system patches/upgrades and improvementsProvide support to systems administrators by executing documented solutions as directedEnsure compliance with security protocols and organizational policiesRequired Qualifications.Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security ClearanceActive CompTIA Security CE or equivalent certification that meets or exceeds DoD 8570 IAT Level II (or be able to obtain within a maximum of 30 days after hire)Must be willing and able to work 40 hours per weekStrong verbal and written communication skillsDependable with a proven ability to complete tasks accurately and on timeAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsExperience helping customers and solving complex IT-related problemsExperience working in a virtual systems environmentActive security clearanceSalary Range$38000- $50000This range serves as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as role level location market conditions and individual qualifications including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
