Information Technology ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Companys Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) Team is currently seeking an Information Technology Manager to join the team in Hazelwood MO or Seattle WA.The selected candidate will lead multiple talented and matrixed teams in developing solutions for Enterprise Labs Product Security Engineering and Software Engineering. This individual must leverage strong skills in Agile Software Development relationship building and teaming problem solving and communication at multiple levels to help accelerate our teams operations and lead them to successful delivery of valuable business solutions. They will work with a diverse set of stakeholders including all three of Boeings primary business units (Commercial Defense and Services) Engineering Test & Technology and Information Digital Technology & Security.The IDT&S Manager will also play a vital role in defining the future state of our team operations as we strive to take over and expand a solution to enterprise use as well as develop a new enterprise solution while working to stabilize and sunset its predecessor. Further the selected individual will lead a team that is in startup mode defining standards and establishing a breadth of solutions for Enterprise Labs.Position Responsibilities:Empower teams so they can operate with a high degree of autonomy and self-organization and deliver to business prioritiesStrategically manage the team and their deliverables including projections for future staffing needs to ensure alignment with organizational goalsWork with team members to manage work priorities facilitate skill assignments and address peoples actions in order to maintain high performing teamsDevelop and maintain relationships and partnerships on a global scale with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reportsManage technical debt to ensure products get and stay ahead of the technology obsolescence curveIdentify recruit develop engage and retain team talentBasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5 years of experience leading or managing integrated or technical projects or teams across multiple computing platforms and organizations5 years of experience working on and/or leading Agile teams5 years of experience working with global teams5 years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadershipPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors Degree or higherExperience with and exposure to physical and technical security as well as physical Lab environmentsExperience communicating complex concepts clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience building teams from the ground up and transitioning them into highly effective operationsExperience with software startup environmentsExperience with Agile Software DevelopmentExperience in Continuous Integration and Continuous DeliveryExperience coaching and mentoring peers and/or reports to continuous learning and improvementDrug Free Workplace:Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
