Position Type:- Administration/Systems AdministratorDate Posted:11/13/2025Location:St. Louise BellevueInforInformation Technology Manager St. Louise Parish School Bellevue WA Reports to: School Principal Part-Time On-Site Mission & Role Summary Own the day-to-day technology that keeps teaching and learning moving in service of our Catholic mission. This role is hands-on (7585%) with a lighter strategic component (1525%) ensuring reliable devices secure networks quick support and compliant data practices. Primary Responsibilities (Daily/Weekly) Help Desk & End-User Support Operate the help desk: triage resolve and escalate tickets; set and meet SLAs. Provide classroom-first support during school hours; create quick guides and FAQs for staff and teachers. Track ticket metrics (volume first-response time resolution time recurring issues) and act on trends. Devices & Classroom Technology Image deploy and manage iPads macOS/Windows devices printers and peripherals via MDM (Microsoft Endpoint Management and Mosyle). Maintain classroom AV: Promethean Interactive displays document cameras and audio/microphone systems. Run regular checks on carts charging and spares; coordinate loaners and repairs; maintain accurate asset tags. Systems & Cloud Administration Administer Microsoft 365 (accounts groups OU/policies storage permissions). Maintain SSO roster syncing and app access controls for SIS/LMS and assessment tools. Oversee backups (cloud/appliance). Network Wi-Fi & Security Stack Monitor switches access points firewalls content filter and UPS; remediate alerts promptly. Manage core services: VLANs DNS/DHCP certificate renewals and patching schedules. Enforce MFA endpoint protection/EDR email security and least-privilege access standards. Compliance Safety & Data Privacy Implement Childrens Internet Protection Act (CIPA) web filtering and supervise category exceptions in collaboration with school leadership. Operationalize FERPA/COPPA state privacy laws and Archdiocesan policies: data retention access logs and audit trails. Maintain incident response and disaster recovery checklists. Vendor & Procurement Serve as day-to-day contact for ISPs MSPs copier/print AV and software providers. Obtain quotes compare options place orders and track warranties/licenses to ensure prudent stewardship. Coordinate E-Rate tasks (inventory quotes SPINs documentation) if applicable. Documentation & Inventory Maintain asset inventory (owner serial warranty last-seen software) with accuracy and accountability. Keep network maps IP plans SOPs join/leave checklists and quick start guides up to date. Publish a living known issues list and a planned maintenance calendar. Light Strategy & Planning Maintain a 36-month lifecycle plan for devices Wi-Fi and AV with cost ranges and replacement timelines. Qualifications Required Bachelors in IT/IS/CS or equivalent experience. 5 years progressive IT experience with strong hands-on support/administration; school or mission-driven setting preferred. Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 admin; MDM for iPadOS/Windows; networking (VLANs Wi-Fi design firewalls); endpoint security/EDR; backups; content filtering; SIS/LMS basics and SSO. Excellent customer service; ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users. Commitment to the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church; models ethical age-appropriate technology use. Pass background check and complete Safe Environment/child-protection training via Virtus. Preferred/Helpful Certifications: Google Certified Admin CompTIA A/Network/Security Jamf/Intune ITIL. Experience with E-Rate classroom AV ecosystems accessibility and data-privacy implementations. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications.
