Full-timeDescriptionOur On-Site IT Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating IT issues and projects with our contracted managed service provider. This role is responsible for tasks that cannot be handled remotely such as networking server and workstation support. By supporting our teams technology needs at the conference center and the summer camps you are playing a vital role in our Mission to Impact lives for Gods Glory!ResponsibilitiesMaintain and troubleshoot voice and data networks analyzing and resolving issues related to hardware software and peripheral devices to ensure seamless operations for the conference center.Stay current on trends and developments in technology including data networking hardware and software to ensure the organization is up-to-date with best practices and innovations.Develop and maintain detailed documentation for equipment installations system configurations and software setups ensuring that all processes are clearly outlined for future reference and ease of use.Recommend and implement fresh IT projects to keep the organizations technology infrastructure up-to-date improving both security and efficiency in day-to-day operations.Conduct diagnostics and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues troubleshoot errors and ensure the continued smooth functioning of IT systems and devices.Train staff and end users on the proper use of equipment and software offering support to ensure team members are comfortable with the technology and utilizing it effectively.Assist with network security and data protection ensuring that systems are secure and that sensitive data is protected in line with organizational policies and regulations.Provide on-call support for emergency IT issues during events or critical operations ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.Perform other duties as assigned contributing to the ongoing improvement of the IT infrastructure and ensuring technology aligns with the organizations needs.Position requires some travel for training/ conferences and evening/weekend workRequirementsAssociates degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience.High School diploma or GEDValid Drivers LicenseStrong Computer and Technology SkillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Basic understanding of network control principles theories concepts and technologies.Thorough understanding of networking protocols WAN/LAN wired and wireless networking.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient with Microsoft 365 environment including EntraMicrosoft and Cisco CertificationsPhysical RequirementsMust possess the necessary physical stamina for walking/standing/working for extended periodsAbility to sit for prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a screenFrequent typing and data entry will be required so a certain level of manual dexterity is necessary.Ability to carry equipment up to 60 lbs around various parts of campus that may vary in degrees of steepness.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Computer Hardware,IT Experience,Network Administration,Network Support,LAN,Computer Networking,Computer Skills,Windows,Sharepoint,Teaching,Operating Systems,Leadership Experience Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
