Summary Of PositionThe Information Technology Technician will assist the Information Technologist IV in providing technical hardware and software support to the Computer Science department. General duties are: Technical Support and System Administration (80%): Provide technical hardware and software support. Install and upgrade software and hardware for instruction and research purposes. Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures. Planning (10%): Investigate potential software and hardware upgrades and additions. Operation (10%): Monitor system health and assist with routine system maintenance.Physical DemandsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and able to carry out physical tasks that routinely require bending standings and carrying.Required QualificationsBachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field and 1-3 years experience.Additional Job InformationUNH is a federal contractor within the meaning of the Executive Order on Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors.
