About this role:Wells Fargo has committed to hire military spouses/domestic partners of actively serving military personnel and is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer responsiblefor one of Wells Fargos on premises hosting environments.The Homefront Heroes Hiring (HHH) Program is designed to attract and hire spouses and domestic partners of actively serving military personnel to career opportunities through a military spouse-specific virtual hiring event and onboarding program.The HHH Program is a direct hire program for talented individuals seeking careers in Consumer Lending Consumer Small Business Banking Human Resources Technology and Wealth Investment Management. Learn more about our program: HHH ProgramThis role covers jobs which design build enhance and integrate the technology infrastructure required to support various platforms and Wells Fargos business is alsoa governing focal point for all site activities ensuring site integrity and systems availabilitythrough the enforcement of corporate securityand governance policies information processing facility specifications technology standards processes and disciplines. Provides proactive identification of risk and thecreation and execution of risk remediation plans. Provide theappropriate leadership necessary to optimize and efficiently manage a hosting environment according to business goals and objectives. Inspires thecooperation and confidence of others and effectively uses power and influence to ensurequality support solid controls facility stability uncompromised service delivery and strategic focus.In this role you will:Support initiatives that deliver workable end to end infrastructure solutionsParticipate in test planning and executionCommunicate with end users to provide timely and accurate information and status updatesDesign build enhance and integrate the infrastructure required to support various platforms and our business portfolioTroubleshoot and resolve tickets during implementation of store networksTroubleshoot and resolve first level network and wireless issuesPresent recommendations for resolving ticket requests and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of the process policies and risk controlsCollaborate and consult with peers colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with internal customersResponsible for Asset management that includes inventory management ordering shipping and receivingRequired Qualifications:2 years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training militaryexperience education2 years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work military or educationDesired Qualifications:Experience supporting technology at an enterprise-level Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations; including managementExcellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency with server storage mainframe and network hardwareProficiency with Layer 1 Infrastructure deploymentsExtensive knowledge of data center operations (space power cooling and network)Precise attention to detail and strong organization skillsFocus on strong risk management in critical environmentsJob Expectations:Willingness to work 100% on-site at stated location on the job openingAbility to work nights weekends and/or holidays as needed or scheduledFlexibility to work in a 24/7 environmentMust be able to lift 50lbsThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipHHH Program Hires are expected to attend and participate in the Military Spouse Homefront Heroes Orientation and Onboarding Experience.
