Injury Prevention Specialist at Select Medical

OverviewSelect Physical Therapy is currently hiring a full-time Injury Prevention-WorkStrategies Specialist for an industrial setting. This is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer exercise physiologist PTA COTA or individual of a similar background. This is an onsite contract with a large airline at LAX. FT staff of 7 Certified Athletic Trainers with additional PRN Athletic Trainers. Center operates 7 days/wk. and operates as a half fitness half OSHA First Aid location for all employees of the airline. We just moved into a brand new roughly 2000 sq. ft. facility with additional spaces in the program is well established (10 years) and supported by all stakeholders. Patient population is diverse ranging in age from 18-65 years old. Various demographics and athletic/physical abilities. OSHA mandated First Aid care can range from musculoskeletal issues to general medical conditions to acute trauma. There are also multiple preventative programs that have been developed and maintained onsite by our Injury Prevention Team that are ongoing and that the candidate will support as able. The full-time WorkStrategies Specialist will also perform one day a week at the busy 4000sq. Ft. Select-Los Angeles PT Clinic performing testing and assisting with operations.
