Inpatient Pharmacy Tech 1 at BJC Healthcare

Are you a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Student looking to start your pharmacy career?  In this part-time position you will be working in both sterile and non-sterile spaces preparing medications, delivering medications, and refilling Pyxis machines. • Part-time 14 hours per week
• One weeknight evening per week 4PM -10PM
• Every other weekend (8 hour shifts)
• 2 Holidays per year

Role Purpose

The Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient 1, under the direct supervision of a staff pharmacist and according to standard procedures, assists in dispensing and transporting medications. This entry level position learns to conduct non-sterile and/or sterile compounding and is responsible for maintaining the required documentation & records.
