We are considering candidates who are located near a Johnson Controls (JCI) local branch to ensure easy access for on-site work.What you will doThe right person listens to understand customer needs probes to recognize opportunities solves problems and recommends solutions. The candidate we are looking for must have passion for customer focus and service understanding to promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners/facilities and information technology (IT) leaders.You will reach out via phone and email to leads from several campaigns. The campaigns consist of HVAC equipment controls planned service agreements and inbound lead requests. You will be qualifying these leads and securing meetings for your outside counterpart. To be successful you will develop a follow up process build relationships with your sales reps and grow maintain a pipeline.How you will do itYou will be responsible forbooking qualified meetings for your outside counterpart. Interacting with your customers daily you will identifyand offer appropriate solutionsor hand-off any booked meetings to the appropriate rep.You will be responsible forfollowing up with your outside counterpart after the meeting takes place and throughout the sales cycle. From there you will build and maintainyour pipeline.What we look forRequired0-2 years of Inside sales telemarketing selling or business experienceUndergraduate degree (preferred) or 2-yeardegree & relevant experienceProficiencywith MS Office programs (MS Word MS Excel MS PowerPoint) internet software and e-mailExcellent verbal and written communications skillsAbility to multi-task prioritize and manage time effectivelyA high levelof integrity and resilient temperamentPreferred2 - 4 years of Inside sales telemarketing selling experience or business experience at a product companyTrack recordof over-achieving goals. Demonstrated ability to influence account decision makers at key levels.Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls (45-60 on average) per dayExperience working with a CRM databaseand SFDCAbility to rapidly build knowledge of Johnson Controls product linesExperience in HVAC/controls industry is highly preferredHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $16.83 - 22.12 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education experience knowledgeskills and abilities of the applicant internal equity location and alignment with market data.)
