Inside Sales Representative

Kelly Services is hiring an Inside Sales Representative for a growing manufacturing client in the St. Louis area. This is a direct hire or temp-to-hire opportunity with a stable, family-owned company.

Important Location Note: The company is currently located in St. Louis City and will be permanently relocating to Pacific, MO on May 1, 2026. Candidates must be able to commute to the city location until the move.

Position Overview

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing customer interaction with administrative responsibilities. You will play a key role in supporting sales operations, ensuring accurate order processing, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service via phone and email
  • Process customer orders, invoices, and track shipments
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes and sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records in ERP systems
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Resolve customer issues related to orders, pricing, and deliveries
  • Assist with pricing updates and product information

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred)
  • 13 years of inside sales, customer service, or related experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace; ERP experience required (SAGE a plus)
  • Basic math and computer skills
