Inside Sales Specification Consultant

You'll be the technical expert customers rely on when they're figuring out how to light a space. Working from our Archdale office, you'll review architectural drawings, interpret room and building layouts, and help clients land on the right Hfele lighting hardware and design solutions for their projects whether it's a kitchen remodel or a commercial build-out. No field work, no travel. Just you, your lighting knowledge, and a queue of people who genuinely need your help.

What you'll do day to day:

• Consult with customers on lighting hardware needs reading their drawings, asking the right questions, and recommending specific products and layouts.
• Design and specify custom lighting solutions, using Hfele's internal systems for quotes and orders.
• Interpret construction drawings and translate them into hardware specifications and lighting plans
• Handle project management and phone support for active lighting projects.

What we're looking for:

• Associate degree or higher in a technical, design, or architectural field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Background in architectural lighting, interior design, or a related field you understand how light behaves in a space.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting construction drawings and architectural plans
• Good communicator who's comfortable advising customers.

Nice to have: Adobe Illustrator experience for design layouts
