Inspector I Employment Type: Full-Time Work Environment: In-Person Reports To: Cleanroom Manager Location: Microflex Technologies, Inc. (Orange, CA) About the Role We're looking for detail-oriented and quality-focused Inspector I professionals to join the growing team at Microflex Technologies, Inc. As customer demand continues to grow, Microflex is expanding its manufacturing operations and investing in additional production capacity. This position plays an important role in ensuring that materials, components, and finished products meet the quality standards our customers expect. What You'll Do
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of materials, components, and finished products in accordance with established inspection procedures.
- Read and interpret job travelers and production documentation to identify inspection requirements.
- Utilize microscopes and other inspection equipment to evaluate product quality and identify defects.
- Identify acceptable and nonconforming product characteristics based on established quality standards.
- Properly classify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Accurately record inspection results and enter required production and quality data into company systems.
- Follow established inspection processes and quality procedures from beginning to end.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area consistent with workplace organization standards.
- Properly handle, unload, package, and store finished products.
- Collaborate with production personnel and leadership to support quality objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Up to one (1) year of experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, or a related environment preferred.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately enter production and quality data.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to read and follow written procedures, work instructions, and production documentation.
- Basic mathematical skills and the ability to perform simple calculations and record data accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience using microscopes, magnification equipment, or visual inspection tools.
- Familiarity with quality inspection processes and nonconforming material procedures.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of workplace organization and continuous improvement practices.
