We strive to find the best and brightest talent for each position within our organization, enabling the unique qualities of each individual to shine and compliment the entire team.MUST HAVE Inspection Authorization (IA) or able to obtain one.ObjectiveThe primary function of the Quality Manager is to perform inspections of products and record quality results and when applicable, oversee Inspectors performing the same. Responsibilities and DutiesDetermine that all technical data on all articles maintained or altered by the Repair Station are secured and kept current with latest revisions. This data will include Repair Station process specification on limited rating specialized services, manufacturer's maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins, part specifications FAA airworthiness directives, related FAA data, and other technical data used by the Repair Station.Performs inspection of aircraft systems, equipment and parts for operation and conformance to government (both FAA and NAVAIR) and company standards and specificationsInspects the installation, repair and operation of electrical wiring, electronic systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil and emergency systems and other parts and equipment of aircraftInspects adjustments, structural and electrical repairs or modifications made on the aircraft in accordance with applicable aircraft maintenance Technical Orders (T.O.), TCTO's, work orders, work cards, aircraft structural repair manuals and modificationsMaintain the Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual and Training ManualPerform Receiving Inspections on all incoming raw materials and purchased partsPerform machined parts inspections, weld inspections, and electrical inspectionsProficient in blueprint reading / interpretation and shop mathematicsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.CompetenciesMust possess 5-10 years' experience in corporate aviation as an A&P mechanic.Customer focus-naturally outgoing/extrovertedMust be able to work in and around confined spaces such as fuel tanksAble to use inspection measuring devices as well as the use of mirror and flashlight to accomplish inspectionsMust be able to climb, kneel, stoop and stand to accomplish inspectionsMust be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by our insurance company (Requires clean driving record)Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office ProductsBasic mathematical knowledgeResults drivenStrong time management skillsReporting RelationshipThis position reports to the COO. Work EnvironmentThis position works inside a hangar and outside in all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft. This position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery. Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, to include but not limited to:Communicate with customers and employees in person, on phone, and through radio communicationsPosition requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.Good physical condition, frequent lifting, carrying weight up to 35 pounds, and occasional pushing/pulling weights up to 100 pounds. Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machineryOutside work in all types of weather conditions.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a non-exempt position.This position includes shift work which requires working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays.
