Youll be the last checkpoint before shipment helping to uphold the reliability our customers expect.What You Will Do: Perform advanced inspections using measurement tools gauges and testing equipmentRead Drawing and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the productVerify in-process and final product conformance on high-voltage assemblies and test setupsLead First Article Inspections (FAIs) and document results in accordance with AS9102 or equivalent standardsDocument nonconformities and prepare inspection reportsProvide technical support and guidance to other inspectorsSupport calibration and equipment verificationMaintain inspection records per quality management system requirements (e.g. ISO 9001 AS9100)Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shippingReject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectationsRecommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality controlMeasure product dimensions examine functionality and compare the final product to the specificationsResolving quality-related issues and adhering to deadlinesPrepare documentation of the inspection process which includes detailed reports and performance recordsDirect assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standardsPut accessories together for product before shipmentPerform Quality AuditPerform necessary transactions in ERP systemTrain and mentor Inspectors III on inspection methods test procedures and safety practicesWhat You Need:510 years of inspection experienceStrong understanding of GD&T metrology and inspection techniquesFamiliarity with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) or other advanced inspection toolsAdvanced understanding of schematics wiring practices insulation systems and clearance/creepage requirementsRequired Certification: IPC-A-610 and IPC-WHMA-A-620 (current)Preferred Certifications: ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalentStandard Shift Hours 7:00AM -3:30PMOur good faith estimate of the wage range for this role is $25.98 - $34.48.
