Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Role SummaryThe Inspector/Test Technician is responsible for the testing and inspection of CPUs, memory modules and hard drives.Essential FunctionsMatch incoming parts to purchase order and customer requirements.Pull stock for shipping.Stock incoming product.Verify product via internet for product verification.Input product information into receiving system.Resolve discrepancies.Testing of product: Processors / Modules / Hard Drives/ Motherboards and various computer related products.Log test results in database.Create test reports.Processes Non-Conforming product in line with QMS.Label conforming product for packaging according to customer requirement.Core CompetenciesTech Savvy – Computer enthusiast. Possess a minimum of 2 Years Inspection and IT related experience. Follow all health and safety procedures/regulations as dictated by Rand and the state. Demonstrated experience working in computer operations.Proficient level: Keyboards, processors etc.Proficient level: Troubleshooting.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Must be able to read and write English. Pass drug screen and criminal background check. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time during the course of the shift. Bend, move, lift, carry, and kneel.Lift up to 25lbs or more. Over 50Ibs with assistance.Finger, wrist, and hand dexterity with repetitive motion. Cognitive function; think independently, solve formulas, solve problems, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
