Job Site: Kokomo - Darrough Chapel; Peru - South Peru ElementaryHours/Days: 37.5 hours per week186 days (9.5 months)Hourly Rate: $12.28 per hourBenefits: Group insurance programs PERF paid leave daysResponsibilities:Assist Head Start teacher in daily classroom activities. Workone-on-one and in small groups with preschool students. Provide remediation support for students. Support the overall student growth in social emotional and kindergarten rediness skills. Assist with serving breakfast lunch and snack daily. Monitor students on the bus as needed. Attend Head Start mandatory training follow Head Start performance standards and all requirements for state early childhood and Head Start licensing. Applicant should be able to work well with school staff and students of all ages. Complete other duties as requested.Minimum Qualifications:Mandatory FBI fingerprinting background check and other HS requirements.High school diploma or equivalent; ANDHaveor be willing to obtain a Childhood Development Associate certificate (CDA) or higher degree in Early Childhood or related field.Deadline to receive applications isFriday December 12 2025or until filled.
