1st Shift Assembler Starting ASAP

The position involves installing cabinets, racks, and drawers into the back of vacant work vans. The role is based in the 'jig' department, where air tools will be used to ensure installations meet customer specifications. This role requires physical agility, including bending, twisting, and repetitive movements, as you navigate the back of vans on an assembly line.

Responsibilities:

• Install cabinets, shelves, and drawers using air tools.
• Ensure installations meet customer specifications.
• Work in the 'jig' department, focusing on precision and efficiency.
• Navigate the back of vans, performing repetitive movements.
• Maintain physical stamina to bend, twist, and kneel as needed.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with assembly and mechanical tools.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and tape measures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a physically demanding field.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

Work hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with employees expected to be at their stations by 5:55 am, and 5:45 am for orientation on the first day. The role involves working in and out of the back of work vans, with repetitive tasks on an assembly line. The warehouse is climate-controlled, although the physical nature of the work can lead to sweating. The dress code includes T-shirts, jeans, or work pants, with closed-toe shoes required. Steel toe shoes are optional.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wentzville, MO.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
