The Teacher will need to adapt existing curriculum to provide rigorous motivating and relevant instruction to a broad range of students. The Teacher will be expected to leverage industry and academic connections to provide students with enriching opportunities inside and outside of classes.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIESRemain up-to-date regarding curriculum content and advancements in technology.Develop and implement technology lessons at each grade level (9-12).Plan collaboratively to implement innovative technology lessons across content areas to be cotaught.Develop and implement professional development.Maintain technology inventory in classrooms computer labs and mobile labs.Ensure computer equipment in the building is functioning properly or request support from HelpDesk in a timely manner.Be part of the team working with educators and other specialists in the area of technology integration.Encourage creativity in students.Support teachers in gaining independence in troubleshooting technology problems.Identify varying teaching methods for students who learn differently.Other duties as assignedTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:As negotiated with Lynn School Committee andLynn Teachers Union.180 days per yearTeacher Salary EstimatorBENEFITS: TheCity of Lynnoffers comprehensive and competitive health and dental benefits; Harvard Pilgrim PPO/HMO Altus Dental High/Low and Vision.
