Instructor of Criminal Justice at Cameron University

The Department of Social Sciences seeks a full-time Instructor of Criminal Justice to begin teaching in August 2026. Responsibilities include teaching a wide array of Criminal Justice classes at all undergraduate levels based on faculty expertise/training and program needs. Faculty are expected to teach in multiple formats including distance learning online and face to face perform department and university service and support student scholarship. Other responsibilities include student advisement assisting with program and department assessment and development and supporting student organizations and events. Other duties as required. Area of specialization is open.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Masters degree in Sociology Criminal Justice or a related field with broad expertise in law enforcement criminology and corrections.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:PhD in Sociology Criminal Justice or a related field with broad expertise in law enforcement criminology and corrections three years teaching experience in higher education and familiarity with teaching research methods.
