Additional opportunities to collaborate on research, both within and outside the department, are available and will be encouraged, but are not required for retention. This position is ideal for the candidate who desires a career in academia with teaching as the primary focus. Aside from teaching responsibilities, the successful applicant is also expected to render some service to the department, college, or university.Required Education and Experience:PhD or Master’s Degree in the Statistical and Data Sciences.Preferred Qualifications:Strong preference will be given to applicants who have a Ph.D. in the statistical and data sciences, or who will have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. by the start date, and have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in teaching.
