Instrumentation ElectricianBe part of a safety-driven team that values inclusion and respect.Join a leading company that offers outstanding personal development and career opportunities.A company with a world-class reputation for safety and performance Wilmington CaliforniaFor California based roles the hourly rate is $48.09 plus $.50 an hour tool allowanceAbout the roleFinding better ways to provide the materials the world needs.We are looking for anInstrumentation Electricianto provide troubleshooting repair and preventive maintenance on machinery equipment and facilities for the optimum operating efficiency of the Wilmington Plant.This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals to contribute their expertise and grow in a diverse range of tasks while making a significant impact on our organizations success.Reporting to theMaintenance Supervisorand working in a collaborative community within a challenging and exciting environment you will be:Performing basic troubleshooting in electrical control distribution and motor protectionInstalling and commission switchgear control devices transformers electrical feeders motors and process instrumentationUsing test equipment to diagnose high medium and low voltage electrical circuitsInstalling programmable logic controllers (PLC) distributed control systems (DCS) human machine interface (HMI) devicesRepairing and calibrate pneumatic mechanical electrical and electronic instrumentsWhat youll bringA commitment to the safety of yourself and your teamQualified Instrumentation Electrician with experience in a first-class role.Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical and electronic theory Ohms Law and Kirchhoffs Law.Proficient in power factor voltage drop and National Electric Code application.Familiarity with instrument operation in a loop and Variable Frequency Drives.Skilled in test and calibration equipment personal computers and medium to high voltage circuits.Ability to interpret and apply schematic drawings wiring diagrams and process flow drawings.Experience with GE Limit Amp Starters GE/Siemens vacuum circuit breakers and ABB Gas circuit breakers.What we offerWe are committed to providing our employees with a generous benefits package.
