LITIGATION ATTORNEY

We are seeking an associate for our litigation practice group to handle general liability cases including, commercial, and umbrella policies, involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, HOA, in a fast-paced and highly demanding atmosphere.
Job duties include:

• Handling cases from preparing responsive pleadings to trial
• Propounding and responding to discovery,
• Medical record review/summaries,
• Conducting depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts,
• Attend court hearings,
• Prepare motions/oppositions,
• Prepare case status reports to carriers
• Trial preparation
• Co-Counsel at Trial
• Qualifications:
• Prior insurance defense experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be driven, self-starter, and able to independently manage a caseload.
• An ideal candidate would have experience with strong litigation skills, including discovery, conducting depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation background.
• New admittees are also encouraged to apply and can be a great fit for the right candidate
• Must be able to work well under strict deadlines
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Reliable and able to work a caseload independently under the supervision of a firm partner
• We are willing to train the right individual.
• Excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills are a must.
