FNIC is looking to add an experienced Placement Coordinator to assist Producers in writing new business and retaining renewal business for accounts in our Commercial department. This person will need to negotiate pricing and policy conditions and terms in a fast paced environment for accounts greater than $30000 in premium.Whats the work likeYou will...Review new and renewal business applications with producers for accurate completion of coverage areas market identification and submission requirementsOrganize and submit applications in a professional manner to carrier partnersBe proficient on underwriting and rating platforms as required for department needsNegotiate pricing policy conditions and terms with insurance companiesAnalyze carrier options prior to proposing coverage for pricing and coverage accuracyPrepare proposals bind accounts update and complete all areas of agency management system and documentation per agency guidelines for moving the account to the Account ManagerPresent professional and accurate insurance submissions to the insurance carriers and negotiate to secure coverages as requested that best meet the clients needsSet priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient timely and accurate processing of informationMaintain and file all documentation in the agency management system per the agency guidelines for timeframes placement and description Maintain the electronic account file and fully incorporate the capabilities of the agency management system into daily workflowKeep abreast of industry and market trends as well as carrier appetites as well as serve as a resource to other staff members in these areasDevelop productive and professional carrier relationships with carrier partners which may include both internal and external meetings as well as other networking or social eventsUnderstanding of Excess & Surplus lines markets and other broker/specialty markets.Follow agency and department procedures as outlinedEnsure confidentiality is maintained in the collection maintenance and dissemination of highly sensitive information including Protected Health Information (PHI)Okay so whats in it for meWhile we expect a lot from our employees at FNIC we also provide a lot in return.Competitive Pay: We strive to pay our employees a competitive market compensationBenefits: Youre covered: health dental vision HSA with employer contributions 401k employer-paid short-term & long-term disability life insuranceDress: Dress for your day bring your whole self to work so you can be as comfortable at work as you are in your personal life.Flexibility: Time back in your day We got you.
