Integrated Modular Avionics Engineering ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company Integrated Modular Avionics team is seeking ahighly talented First-Line Engineering Manager(Level K) to join the team in Everett WA.Position Overview:In this role the manager will lead a dynamic team of engineers in the development validation verification integration and certification of the Integrated Modular Avionics System. The manager will also support maintenance and customer service for in-service airplanes. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett WA.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science.2 years of experience in leadership or management role.Ability to travel for business as neededPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience in the development integration and verification of aircraft systems.Knowledge of FAA certification processes and safety analysis.Experience with qualification testing or lab testing.Familiarity with engineering processes and methods.Proven track record managing risks and issues to resolution.Proven ability to lead with the Boeing ValuesDemonstrated ability in team building coaching and employee development to enhance team performance and engagement.Solid technical background with the ability to guide and mentor the team.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Union Representation:This is not a union represented position.Pay and Benefits: At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
