Job ID:113248The Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems business is a trusted provider of innovative naval gas and hybrid power systems, control technology and support solutions for the U.S. Navy and navies around the world.Job SummaryJoin our Danbury, CT Program Management Office (PMO) as a Program Planner. This role works closely with Program leadership to plan, schedule, and budget contractual requirements for defense programs of varying size and complexity.What You Will DoEstablish complex program plans and conduct in-depth research to define program requirementsInterface with all levels of the customer, vendors and internal departments to coordinate deliverables, budgets and schedulesDevelop new methods for tracking and reporting program status statisticsAssemble and compile schedule data and inputs same into the project schedule and provide output to the project managerAdvise management of risks that may affect project profit, costs, and schedulesEducation & Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree and related technical training with 5+ years directly related experience (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience)Demonstrated experience with planning and scheduling for large programs; defense experience highly preferredProficient in Microsoft Project or similar software as a planning toolFamiliarity with Earned Value or a related business processExcellent communication skills and an ability to work across all levels of the organizationU.S. Citizenship required.
