As a QMHP you will provide intensive in-home counseling services in a one-to-one, family and group setting for youth and their families with sessions being conducted in the family home. Intensive In-Home Counseling services place an emphasis on offering the individual behavioral, social and/or recreational skills coaching as well as parenting skills training. You will provide 24 hour crisis intervention support, implement positive behavior support plans, and coordinate care with other agency's involved in your client's care. The ideal candidate is compassionate, works well within a team environment, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.ResponsibilitiesProvide services in the homes and communities of clients in various Hampton Roads cities in the state of VirginiaDocument all service delivery as required by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental ServicesMaintain excellent records of patient interactions, and report anything concerning immediatelyAttend clinical supervision, team meetings, or staff training as scheduledDevelop and implement person centered treatment plansEducational RequirementsApplicants need to meet either of the following educational & experience requirements to qualify:Bachelors degree in non-human services w/ 3,000 hours of experienceBachelors degree in human services ie.. psychology, social work,Masters degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related fieldQualificationsValid Driver's License and Acceptable DMV recordFamiliarity with Microsoft and G-Suites applicationsStrong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional time management and writing skillsThe ability to work well within a team environmentPositive, compassionate attitude, and helpful
