Let’s talk.People First in Long BeachLocal Team Collaboration:Long Beach Memorial Medical Center is a 420-bed non-profit teaching hospital that has been recognized as a major regional provider of medical and surgical services by US News and World Report.Intensivists will rotate through both Med/Surg ICU and CVICU (depending on need).15-bed CVICU (non-teaching service)32-bed Med/Surg ICU, which is the teaching service with Internal Medicine residents and Pulmonary/Critical Care FellowsEMR: Cerner with Dragon for dictationQualifications:Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO)A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU settingActive California medical license preferredPractice in the Heart of the CommunityScheduling:7 on 7 off schedule. One week of days and one week of nights per month.Key Responsibilities:This is an ideal environment for someone wanting to care for the full spectrum of critically ill patients.Opportunity to teach residents and fellows at the bedside.Living and Working in Long Beach:Long Beach is a beautiful, vibrant beachfront community located ½ hour from Los Angeles.
