Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTitle: Interactive TellerReports to: Interactive Teller SupervisorSupervises: NoneStatus: Non-ExemptObjectiveThe Interactive Teller will provide service support to Member transaction needs via multiple channels in a manner that is professional, friendly, and compliant with all policies and procedures. In doing so, the Interactive Teller will proactively recommend and refer new and alternative financial services to Members that best fit their financial needs.Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for basic and complex member service ITM directed interactions related to member accounts including but not limited toDeposits, Withdrawals and PaymentsAccount informationShare DraftsShare CertificatesMoney MarketsIRA’sShare and Lending Rates and TermsShared BranchingMonitor transactions to avoid losses to Member and KEMBA from fraudIdentify and recommend new and alternative services to Members that will properly fit their financial needsMeet or exceed assigned service and productivity goals established for this positionPerform all duties in a manner that is 100% compliant with KEMBA policies and proceduresProvide friendly and member centric service for all requestsAssist other Interactive Tellers with work as neededDevelops an understanding of Credit Union history, philosophy, organization, policies, and operational proceduresOn a self-directed basis, continue to improve individual level of competency through training and certification on established educational programsMust be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions:Can get along with coworkers or peers without exhibiting behavioral extremesPerform work activities requiring negotiating, instructing, supervising, persuading, or speaking with othersRespond appropriately to criticism from a supervisorPerforms other duties as required by managementRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrior teller experience or equivalentPrior experience in a sales/customer service environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailMust value a high degree of accuracyProfessional demeanor and ability to be “On Stage” for extended periods maintaining a positive attitudeExcellent communication skills with appropriate grammarBasic PC skills (Windows)Willing to work a flexible schedulePhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
