Job Description: Arcadia University seeks an individual to serve in the position of Interim Director of Sexual Violence Education and Prevention. This is a fully grant-funded 28 hours per week position. The position will end on May 31 2026 with option to interview for regular position if grant is renewed. Reporting to the Vice President for Campus Life & Dean of Students the Interim Director of Sexual Violence Education and Prevention will lead Arcadia & Office of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Education and Prevention (OSVEP) and will maintain a comprehensive violence prevention program. The Interim Director will also provide institutional support as described in the approved grant proposal to campus units concerning sexual and gender-based violence response and prevention. Additionally the Director will provide day-to-day management and oversight of the College& Sexual Violence Prevention Grant through the Department of Justice & Office of Violence Against Women (OVW). Location: GlensideResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Coordination of Grant Objectives:Provide oversight and coordination of identified grant objectives including training programs for campus departments law enforcement and local victim advocacy agencies to assure effective crisis response and long term support and care for campus victims.Develop and manage the Coordinated Community Response trainings and workshops.Create execute track and assess campus wide education awareness and prevention programs throughout the academic year.Attend a grant orientation three yearly Technical Training Institutes scheduled webinars and any other training required by the grantee.Tracking and Reporting of Grant Activity:Ensure that project objectives are met and outcomes are tracked within the guidelines of the grant.Maintain records of program progress and evaluate program activities.Communicate with the Office of Violence Against Women about budget budget modification (if applicable) and project status.Manage grant budget in partnership with the finance department. Coordinate data collection and submission for all required reports.Community Outreach and Involvement:Engage with Arcadia community to enhance knowledge and development of awareness of OSVEP work.Develop processes with campus offices for reporting and addressing sexual and gender-based violence.Provide insight and expertise to campus committees on OSVEP work.Serve as a key partner in collaborating with campus units to address incidents of sexual and gender-based violence.Serve as Non-Confidential/Confidential Resource Provider and First Call Response:Coordinate with on or off campus sexual assault crisis service center or domestic violence program.Assist the reporting party in contacting or reporting to campus via the Office of Equity and Civil Rights or local law enforcement agenciesNotify the reporting party of their rights and the institutions responsibilities regarding a protection order no contact order and any other lawful orders issued by the institution or by a criminal civil or tribal court.Attend administrative or institution-based case related meetings and/or hearings as the advisor or support person of the students or employees choice. Serve as First-Call Responder.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Master degree from an accredited program in higher education student affairs counseling services gender studies social work or other related areas.Three years of related experience in an educational or social services setting.Ability to travel to Christiana Delaware to meet with students as needed.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience with OVW grantExperience instructing bystander interventionRequired Knowledge Skills and Abilities:Excellent organizational communication and coalition building skills.Work experience and/or general knowledge of sexual assault domestic/dating violence and stalking; and accepted practices in violence prevention.Demonstrated ability to work with faculty staff students administration and the community including individuals of diverse backgrounds life experience and abilities.Ability to travel for grant-related trainings and institutesApplication Instructions:Applications must be submitted online through Arcadias Human Resources portal to receive full consideration.
