Interim Oncology Outpatient Manager at Kirby Bates Associates

Kirby Bates Associates, a premier national healthcare leadership firm, is seeking an accomplished Interim Oncology Outpatient Manager to serve a dynamic multi-campus health system in California. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity overseeing Outpatient Oncology operations across two campuses. Reporting to the Nursing Director of Outpatient Oncology, the Interim Manager will partner closely with Infusion Center staff and schedulers to drive operational excellence, optimize patient throughput, and elevate the overall quality of care.

Requirements

• Bachelors of nursing required
• Active California RN license required (CA is not a compact state)
• Minimum 3 years of infusion or oncology nursing experience
• 3+ years in a leadership role
• OCN, CRNI, or equivalent infusion-related certification
• Strong clinical expertise in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and biologic therapies
• Proficiency with EMR systems, barcode medication administration, and smart pump technology
• Working knowledge of regulatory standards including ONS, INS, USP, and The Joint Commission

Compensation & Benefits

Kirby Bates Associates offers an attractive interim compensation package that includes:

• $850.00 per day ($221,000 annually)
• Housing and transportation
• Regular travel home
