Background: Prairie View, Texas is a suburban small city with a population of 8,679. Prairie View is located within Waller County, Texas and is home to Prairie View A&M University. Job Description: City Organizational Structure: Prairie View, Texas is governed by home rule charter with a city council-city manager form of government. All submissions will be reviewed by a committee composed of the mayor, two (2) City Council members, Police chief and a community member.
