CRC SPEAR Project CoordinatorUniversity of California Los AngelesRequisition Number: 40849Salary: $4,608 - $9,292 MonthlyPosition Description:The Samahang Pilipino Education and Retention (SPEAR) Project Coordinator provides programmatic oversight, administrative direction, and management for the retention project sponsored by the Campus Retention Committee (CRC) and housed in the Student Retention Center. The SPEAR Project Coordinator has responsibilities for the short and long term development and day-to-day operations of the project in collaboration with the project's Sponsoring Student Organization, Samahang Pilipino, and the Campus Retention Committee. The SPEAR Project Coordinator is fiscally responsible for their project and keeps within funding guidelines and limitations. The SPEAR Project Coordinator ensures that the project strives to assist UCLA students, specifically targeting Pilipino students, graduate by providing the following services: Peer Counseling, Mentorship, and Internship. Special Instructions:This is a 1 year contract position with possibility of renewal. Contract duration will not exceed 4 years. The budgeted hiring salary/target range for this position is the posted minimum to $4,727 monthly, with salary placement based on skills, knowledge, and experience. This position also provides full health benefits and membership in the UC Retirement Plan. Pay at the top of the budgeted pay range is commensurate with prior experience.
