Its core competences are the development production distribution and servicing of diesel gas and electric drivetrains for professional applications that is used in construction equipment agricultural machinery material handling equipment stationary equipment commercial vehicles rail vehicles and other applications.Job SummaryOurIntern will be completing entry level work for Deutz to gain experiencein a specific fieldrelated to their degree. The duties of an internmay vary depending on the department they are working in.This role requires a candidate who can build great relationships with peersand supervisorswhilerepresentingthe DEUTZ brand with excellence.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAn Intern will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:Learningandbecoming proficient in SAPand othersoftwareutilizedby Deutz.Support engineering prototype builds.Assistingwith creation and revision of technical documentation.Participate duringthe designreview process.Understand the overall concept ofDeutz including the brand customers company goals and product goals.Completing tasks assigned by the supervisor and/or manager.Provides suggestions to management for improvinginternalprocesses.Attendrequired meetingsandassistby creating presentations.Conduct research that is helpful tothe teamforaccomplishingproject goals.Performsotherduties as assigned. Other QualificationsEffective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate on tasks with other employees.Abilityto work independently make improvement suggestions and work in a team environment is necessary.Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task daily whilemaintaininga high levelof confidence and professionalism.Ability tomaintainconfidentiality.Supervisory ResponsibilityN/ATravel RequirementsAnticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0-10% depending on business needs.Minimum RequirementsHS Education or equivalentBachelors degree or in process of obtaining a degreePreferred RequirementsPrior CAD/3-D modeling experiencePrior experience around IC engines off-road equipment/vehiclesPrior experience in a workplace settingPhysical Requirements:Manufacturing assembly and warehouse environment. Subject to noise dust diesel fuel oil and extreme hot/cold temperatures.
