The University of Illinois Foundation (Foundation) is the official fundraising and private gift-receiving organization of the University of Illinois (University). It works closely with alumni and friends faculty and staff corporations and foundations as well as campus development professionals to create fundraising programs and opportunities that benefit the University.The Foundation has an opening for an Intern in our Human Resources Department. This person will support UIF HR staff with day-to-day administration and work on projects intended to improve HR practices.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists with gathering information reviewing/entering data and producing materials including but not limited to the following areas: HR Administration Recruitment/Onboarding Compensation/Surveys Job Descriptions Immigration related matters Payroll Meetings/Events Performance management Training Provides office and Foundation lobby front desk coverage as needed.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Current University of Illinois Student or recent graduate.Available to work at least one semester.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Currently enrolled in School of Labor and Employee Relations (LER) at UIUC.Available to work two or three semesters.Required Experience:Intern Key Skills Invoicing,Facilities Management,HVAC,AIX,Air Pressure Handling,AX Employment Type : Intern Experience: years Vacancy: 1
