Knowledgeable mentors will provide guidance for a dynamic professional hands-on experience. The intern will get a unique look into the benefits of working within a smaller biomedical company; high visibility within the company and exposure to a broad range of Quality Systems activities. This internship is based out of our Alachua FL or Tampa FL office for at least the 1st semester and will be for 2-3 semesters.Requirements of the Quality Systems InternshipCurrently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program; preferably in Biology Medical Sciences Allied Health Biomedical Engineering or other related degreeAbility to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (up to 29) hours a week during normal business hours (8-5pm); specific days/hours will be based on students class loadAbility to pass a drug screeningAble to work out of the Alachua officeDetail orientedMS Office Suite skillsExperience with Teams and SharePoint preferredProject DetailsThe intern will be supporting various elements of the quality management system including but not limited to: deviation CAPA change control management review supplier quality software validation document control and training.Location13631 Progress Blvd. Alachua FLOR111 W. Oak Ave. Tampa FLBenefits/CompensationThe anticipated base wage for this position is $18/hr for an undergrad student and $20/hr for a grad addition to the base hourly rate there may be a housing stipend available based on location. Interns who are 21 years of age or older are eligible for 401K.Axogen follows healthcare system guidelines with respect to credentialing vaccinations and other employment/compliance related requirements as well as CDC guidance.
