Job Description
Role: Business Intelligence Senior Associate (W2 Position) Location: Dearborn MI (Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months Experience: 6 Years Position Description: Assist communications & training team with all items related to I-ERP communications engagements and training including (but not limited to): Communication management and strategic planning including developing Newsletter and podcasts Developing and managing training contents Creation of communication strategies and plans Global end-user engagement strategies Tracking and metrics Development of internal communications for Purchasing and cross-functional counterparts Development of internal communications for leadership Review and refinement of content developed by the team Lead and develop scripting and logistics of the Tek Talks podcast and I-ERP Minute podcasts Input to Corporate engagement strategies Input to external (and public) communication strategies Support the team to deliver impactful and inspiring content with an element of storytelling Training : Collaborate with subject matter experts to design develop and update training curriculum for various IERP courses Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions workshops and Ms Team both in-person and virtually to diverse audiences Primary Skills Required: Communication management and strategic planning including developing Newsletter and podcast Primary Skills Preferred: Developing and managing training contents Experience Required: Well versed in developing and executing training programs Skills Required: Communications PowerPoint Microsoft Excel Microsoft SharePoint Artificial Intelligence & Expert Systems Experience Required: Senior Associate Exp: 3 to 5 years experience in relevant field Experience Preferred: Regarding what specifically went wrong in the completed interviews: The primary issue we encountered was the over-projection of these specific skills on resumes that did not hold up under scrutiny during the interview. Lack of Depth and Specificity: Candidates often lacked the practical depth/understanding or specific examples necessary to validate their claimed expertise in leading podcast logistics strategically updating training materials or developing impactful internal communications for our specific environment. The experience presented felt superficial or disconnected from the core requirements of our role. Irrelevance to Core Needs: Many examples provided while perhaps valid experiences in themselves were not relevant to the specific challenges or the daily work involved in our department concerning these particular skill sets. This indicates a misalignment between the candidates understanding of the roles specific needs and our actual requirements. Absence of Desired Traits: Beyond these technical skills candidates often failed to demonstrate intrinsic motivation proactiveness and readiness to take over the job that we seek. There was also a noticeable lack of enthusiasm or clear understanding regarding the collaborative nature of our work and our preference for in-office presence to develop better team synergy.
