Internal CSS Senior Operator at Continental

YOUR TASKSThis role involves operating machinery supporting production flow troubleshooting issues and maintaining safety quality and efficiency in daily operations.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACTOperate and monitor all the equipment and machines within the CSS area most of the tasks while meeting corporate quality and safety standardsAssist and fill in for lead with daily production flowUse independent judgment to support make decisions and troubleshoot in areas of set-up operation and processesFilter cleaning for the laser cleanerCoordination and organization of the rework areaScrap 1 monitoringSupport the Continental Business System (CBS) structure by participating in the applicable CBT meeting reviewing and managing his/her/team performance conducting simple problem-solving using action sheets identifying and implementing improvement opportunities participating in the CBT reviews and taking ownership for presented parts of the team boardsFollow the internal ESH work instructions in the daily workDemonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate othersEnsure immediate notification and response and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazardsOther duties as assigned NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.Qualifications : WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLEHigh school diploma or GEDOne or more years of experience in the CSS department at Continental Tire Sumter and rated exceptional or higher on current performance dialogueCertified in all operations in CSS and TSEThis role is an internal only position external applicants will not be considered for this roleLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
