Internal Manufacturing Technician III (Lead) Curing at Continental

YOUR TASKSOversees green tire inventory flow and curing coordination on an assigned shift ensuring production continuity quality compliance and on-time delivery. Serves as a safety-focused liaison between operations maintenance and leadership while supporting problem-solving training and team effectiveness.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACTManage green tire inventory accuracy storage organization and quarantine trackingCoordinate tire flow sequencing and phase-in/phase-out activities to support curing operationsMonitor curing processes and intervene early to prevent production disruptionsPromote and enforce safety quality environmental and policy complianceSupport structured problem-solving efforts (e.g. CBS 5 Why 4D)Train mentor and coach team members to build capability and teamworkServe as a liaison between hourly employees supervision and maintenance including SAP work orders and reportingBe self-managed detail-oriented and capable of performing under pressureFollow all plant ESH CBS quality and department processes and proceduresOther duties as assignedNOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.Qualifications : WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLEHigh school diploma or GEDTwo or more years experience in the curing department at Continental Tire SumterThis role is an internal only position external applicants will not be considered for this roleLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
