St. Josephs Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for a full-time Hospitalist position at Rome Memorial Hospital, part of the St. Josephs Health system, located in Rome, New York. This is an excellent opportunity for an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join a comprehensive medical group.POSITION OVERVIEWProvides professional medical services to a daily census of 12-15 patients per Provider while they are hospitalizedArranges for necessary follow-up care upon discharge from the HospitalMakes daily rounds on all patients assigned to the Hospitalist Program, admit patients and run rapids responses/ cart callsConducts a history, physical examination, and note dictated in our Paragon EMR systemWork in conjunction with Attending Physician and Intensivist to effectively manage a medical crisis or change in assigned patients medical condition consulting with applicable parties in a timely fashion.7am-7pm scheduleWorks in an open ICU setting with a 24/7 Intensivist consultantWorks with an established medical center with comprehensive subspecialty supportQUALIFICATIONS:Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.Valid medical license in the state of New York.Prior experience as a Hospitalist preferred but not required.Excellent clinical and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.RECRUITMENT PACKAGESt. Joseph's Health offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package.Guaranteed base salary: $250,000-$275,000Starting Bonus: $15,000Earn additional compensation through meeting productivity and quality bonus metricsComprehensive health benefits: Medical, dental, and visionMalpractice insurance (including tail coverage)Generous PTO5 days CME with annual allowance403(b) with employer matchCompensation Information:$250000.00 / Annually - $275000.00 / Annually
