IntroductionThe US Chief Data Office (CDO) provides business domains with data analytics and essential services to support advanced business analytics capabilities. The primary objective of this role is to develop and maintain ASMLs enterprise and business process data foundation within the SAP Hana and data visualization platform (Spotfire) thereby enabling trusted data access for ASML US teams. This position requires effective engagement with business clients and the implementation or enhancement of data integration flows utilizing SAP HANA SQL and Tibco Spotfire.Your assignmentContribute to the development and improvement of data integration objects in SAP Hana containers.Design and maintain logical and physical data models in SAP HANA for analytical processing.Assist in ETL processes to extract transform and load data from multiple sources into HANA.Build interactive dashboards and visualizations in Spotfire to deliver actionable insights.Participate in all phases of project life cycle starting from requirement gathering to testing to move to prod.Communicate the results both verbally and written.Assist in the documentation of data processes and best practicesActively participate in relevant Scrum and SAFe rituals and take part in continuous journey toward a more agile organization.Interns will typically be required to document and present their findings as well as making an end of summer presentation to the group about what they achieved during their internship.Your profileGraduate student majoring in Computer Science Data Analytics or Information Systems with a GPA of 3.0 or above. Must be currently in school.Knowledge of database management systems and data visualization tools.Curiosity about data and a passion for finding answers hidden in data sets.Familiarity with Spotfire Tableau or similar BI tools for visualization.Familiar with data impact analysis software development practices and data architecture conceptsExperience with Data Analytics Data Modeling Data Management techniques and toolsStrong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologiesSkills & CompetenciesHands on experience with database management systems such as SQLBasic knowledge of SAP HANA architecture data modeling and SQL.Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsSelf-motivated and eager to learn about data integration and virtualization technologiesAbility to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracyWork independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervisionA proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvementInclusion and diversityASML is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and respects the importance of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
