Your contributions as an Internship Software Engineer (GEM) will directly influence the technology that powers everything from smartphones to medical devices.This is only open to those currently in process of review through the GEM FellowshipRole and ResponsibilitiesAs an Internship Software Engineer (GEM) you will actively participate in developing software solutions that drive ASMLs technological this internship you will gain hands-on experience and collaborate with talented professionals in a supportive environment.Design develop and test software for advanced semiconductor equipmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutionsAnalyze user needs to create practical and effective software featuresTroubleshoot issues and resolve problems to ensure system reliabilityParticipate in code reviews and share constructive feedback with your peersDocument processes solutions and progress to support project transparencyEngage with mentors and team members to expand your technical knowledgeEducation and ExperienceYou are pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience with programming languages such as Python Java or C is beneficial. Experience with SDLC VCS and TDD is required and will help you excel in the Internship Software Engineer (GEM) role. Pay scales are determined by role level location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to job-related skills relevant education and experience certifications abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.Additional Responsibilities:There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields high voltage and currents.This position requires access to controlled technology as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730 et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
