AHP, Associated Health Professionals, Inc., JCAHO Certified, supplemental healthcare registry since 1977, has an exciting opportunity for an Interventional /Vascular Tech for VA San Diego. Long term contract, 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday, 7:30-17:30 or 8am – 4:30pm shift.

Contract IR Tech will provide diagnosis, treatment, consultation and follow up patient care services to the VA IR San Diego Diagnostic department.

Contract IR tech pays $79/hr/ $3160/wk /$164,320/year

Position details:- QUALIFICATIONS

1. Personnel assignedby the Contractor to performservices covered by this contract must be AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or AmericanRegistry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). The General DRT, DRT CT, and Interventional positions are required to be certified and licensed by the State of California in radiography and fluoroscopy. Basic Life Support (BLS),certification is required. Contract personnel must be familiarwith all radiographic diagnostic fluoroscopy, surgeryprocedures, portable (including C-Arm), and routinegeneral diagnostic exams.PACS work experience is required. All contract personnel must have a minimum of two (2) years of current work experience that demonstrates the ability to work with minimal or no supervision. Current work experience is considered to be work performed withinthe last three (3) years.Student internship and training time spent in a Radiologysetting does not count towardsthe 2 years of work experience.
