Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!This role is part of Blue Origin Operations which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain Test Operations Safety Quality and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of a hardworking team of specialists you will perform Warehousing Operations for materials and components procured for space programs and development programs. This includes processing of Purchase Orders stocking weekly count verifications and distribution to manufacturing. You will also process the receipt and storage of non-production supplies. To do so you are a proactive individual with excellent oral written and interpersonal skills who thrive in a fast paced environment.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise leadership skills and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities:Excellent customer service skills requiredTrack and maintain all test stand critical spares inventoryMaintain tool calibration process ensuring all tools are within specificationPerform the receipt unpacking and storing of incoming purchase ordersPerform daily stocking activitiesFulfillment of Work Order hardware & support equipment requirementsCollect and prepare for the shipment of itemsDelivery of hardware kits or support equipment to various sitesPerform weekly cycle countsMaintaining stocking areas to accommodate adjusting volumes and storage requirements as driven by production and development activityFinding opportunities for improvement in stocking and material handling processesEnsure 5S complianceSafely handle product with a forklift and/or pallet jackMaintain a culture of safetyStrong attention to detailOther duties as assignedQualifications:High School DiplomaAbility to safely drive a forklift and perform acute workExperience with managing inventoryExcellent written and verbal communication skills requiredA demeanor of best-in-class quality attention to detail and dedicationSelf starter with the ability to remain productive with minimal supervisionDesired:A minimum of 1-2 years inventory control experience including handling inventory and handling of upbeat systems hazardous waste materials and raw metalsExperience in manufacturing aerospace medical or military environmentsCulture StatementDont meet all desired requirements Studies have shown that some people are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single desired qualification.
