Inventory Control Specialists II at Aevex

Job Overview AEVEX Aerospace is looking for a detail oriented Inventory Control Specialist with experience tracking and maintaining physical inventory identifying discrepancies or losses and managing the flow of parts and equipment to and from the shop floor.Essential Functions Ensure all material is properly received within the ERP system on a daily basis.Ensure all material is put away within the ERP system on a daily basis.Ensure all material is properly issued within the ERP system on a daily basis.Review and close open receipts put aways or issues on the associated ERP report.Physically put away assets to their assigned bin location and issue items to the production floor.Execute daily cycle counts per the published cycle count programReport inventory discrepancies and inventory levels to the Inventory Control ManagerParticipate in annual bi-annual or as required physical inventory auditsConduct frequent inventory stock checks and other stockroom dutiesPerform shipping and receiving related duties including loading and unloading trucks as neededFollow safety protocols and procedures including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe working environmentEnsure all work is done efficiently and adheres to aviation safety regulations and industry best practicesMaintain a clean work environment in full compliance with company standards and customer and government regulationsPerform other related duties as assignedStandard Essential Functions Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis or in accordance with posted schedule.Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the companys policies and practices.Embodies AEVEXs cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company culture.Qualifications and Competencies Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle complex issues and problemsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentExperience with computerized inventory systems (e.g. SAP Oracle WMS).Excellent problem-solving skillsPositive attitude team-oriented and calm under pressureProficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel or related softwareEducation / Certifications High school diploma or equivalent education requiredCurrent forklift certification required.Experience 2-4 yrs. previous shipping/receiving/inventory experience requiredPhysical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
