OverviewThis role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units ("Spirit Commercial"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions. ResponsibilitiesKey AccountabilitiesPerforms responsibilities requiring the integration of disciplines from more than one supplier management and procurement job family and applies independent, specialized technical expertise to support a wide range of business objectivesActivities include, but are not limited to, the development, integration, implementation, and execution of multidisciplinary business processesWorks cross-functionally with internal and external customers and suppliers and all employee levels to carry out responsibilitiesApplies process management and improvement techniquesUses problem-solving skills and analytical abilities to develop innovative and expedient solutions to problemsFacilitates work teams, provides training, and interfaces with internal organizations and external customers with regard to project planning, problem resolution, and process improvementThe role demands a focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team environment. Candidates must also display strong judgment, leadership, and integrityStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and departments in a diverse environment. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:5+ years of experience in as a Supply Chain Professional and/or Management experience in a production environmentExcellent Microsoft Office Suite skillsExperience working with multiple cross functional groupsStrong project management and time management skillsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperience presenting to and interacting with all levels of the organizationAbility to effect changeKnowledge of MRP systems, SAP preferredHigh School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain or other relevant course of studyMBA or Master's DegreeKnowledge/experience with manufacturing and manufacturing processesAPICS, CPIM, CSCP or other industry certificationGovernance and Compliance background including experience with AS9100 or other external audits.Experience in Aerospace Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range: $97,800 - $149,950 Kansas Tax Credit: Join Spirit AeroSystems' Kansas team and you may be eligible for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years.
