Job Description

The Inventory Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through daily cycle counts investigating discrepancies and conducting quality audits. Must be a team player with strong attention to detail flexibility and the ability to meet physical demands. Will assist in inventory management ensuring accurate stock levels and transaction records. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills is detail-oriented and has experience in data entry and analysis. The ideal candidate should be able to work both independently and as part of a team.ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness and organization of all inventory both inside and outside the facility Manage the receipt of all inventory such as new returns and to be refurbished products including unloading counting and inputting inventory data into the ERP systemLabel inventory with the correct item numbers ensure it is suitably packaged for storage and stock inventory in the correct locationPackage/ship product to replenish internal and external inventory needs (via sales orders/ bill of ladings transfer orders etc.)Organize and manage the storage of all inventory in a safe and secure mannerPerform inventory audits cycle counting and physical inventory counts on daily weekly or quarterly intervalsPick pack and create outbound shipments to satisfy sales ordersUtilizes material handling equipment to unload and load customer/vendor shipmentsMaintain a high degree of accuracy in all activities and perform them in a timely mannerVerify the accuracy and quality of inbound and outbound shipments (quality control)Process returns efficiently ensuring accurate inventory updates and timely communication with appropriate internal contactsUse of various software including the CRM NetSuite ERP and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and WordOther duties may be assigned to meet business needsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPreviousinventory experience is preferredExperience with NetSuite preferredAbility to articulate clearly professional oral and written communication skillsExcellent planning and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-task with little supervisionPrevious work experience should demonstrate good interpersonal skills self-motivation flexibility detail-oriented work style professional appearance and attitude and ability to effectively communicate with coworkers customers/clients at all levelsAbility to operate a computer and other general office equipmentMust have basic mathematical skillsExperience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jackProven ability to collaborate effectively within a team atmosphereStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work overtime as assigned and commit to a flexible work schedule around demandMust have reliable transportation and an acceptable driving recordPhysical RequirementsMay be required to sit bend squat kneel or stand for long periodsMay be required to lift up to 50 pounds unassistedSit speak or listen actively for extended periodsPossess full use of both hands to feel or manipulate objects tools or controlsPerform an extended reach with arms to manipulate objects tools or controlsWalk short distances sometimes over uneven terrainMay be exposed to various weather conditions including seasonal hot and cold temperaturesScheduleMonday - Friday: 8 hour shift Weekends as neededRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Anti Money Laundering,Account Management,Agriculture,Banqueting,Customer Development,Financial Planning Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
