TRSL maintains a $28.1 billion portfolio with a sophisticated diversified asset allocation. The Alternative Assets and Real Estate portfolio is currently allocated at 52% of plan assets and is made up of over 400 individual fund commitments and 130 general partnership relationships. This work requires: strong communication and decision-making skills; familiarity with private markets analysis and research; and a working understanding of the TRSL investment policy statement (IPS). Salary:$33.65-38.47 hourly or $69992.00-$80017.60 annually.SUMMARYThe incumbent reports to the Investment Director of Private Markets and may functionally report to the Investment Manager of Private Markets Deputy Chief Investment Officer (DCIO) and the Chief Investment Officer (CIO). This work requires: analytical independent judgment and decision; communications with senior investment executive accounting legal personnel and TRSL Board of Trustees. The incumbent will work with the Investment Director of Private Markets and the Investment Manager of Private Markets to oversee overall performance compilation for all asset classes.Summer 2026 graduates are encouraged to apply; projected start date for the position is Fall 2026.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSOne year of experience in the investment industry. A bachelors degree in business administration accounting economics finance or closely related field will substitute for one year of experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSChartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Charterholder (CAIA) and/or masters degree in finance or business administration.SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist the Investment Director of Private Markets with:Portfolio due diligence reviewing offering documents due diligence calls and interfacing with Private Market Managers Co-Investment Managers and the General ConsultantMeet with prospective fund managers of strategies not currently employedConduct reviews of investment opportunities and market trendsPerform portfolio reviews with currently hired managersReporting and analysis of current portfolio including preparation and compiling components of the TRSL Board Investment Committee reportIndependently analyze investment data from managers to determine compliance with system policies CFA Institute standards state and federal laws and manager investment guidelinesThe enhancement implementation and maintenance of alternative asset and real estate software and custodial systemsAssigned additional duties as deemed necessary by the Investment Director of Private Markets Manager of Private Markets Chief Investment Officer Deputy Chief Investment Officer executive management or the TRSL Board of TrusteesInterested applicants also have the option to email or fax their resume to the contact below by Sunday November 30th.All prospective new hires will be subject to employment eligibility verification via the federal governments E-Verify system.TRSL is a Substance Abuse and Drug-Free workplace.
