team.In this role you will:Monitor and supportIoT cloud connectivityof Evolv products.Designandbuild secure remote access mechanisms.Definefirewall/routing managementforaccess pointswithin Evolv products.InteractwithIoT telecommunication service providersandhardware vendors when needed for design or troubleshooting.Detect and help mitigate dataoverages.Develop solutions to improve performance inlocationsthat may be subject topoor LTEsignalcoverageorWi-Fi network congestion.Recommend and qualifysoftware/firmware/configurationupdates forrouters handlingIoT and Wi-Fi connectivity.Developoptimized configurationandfirewallsettings.Coordinate with other Evolv teams to develop rollout plans.Troubleshootday-to-day IoT connectivityproblems to root cause in LTE portalAWSdevicehardware software or some combination thereof.Collaborate with Customers and Evolvteams onsolutions forlocations or applicationsthat mayhave uniquenetworkchallenges.Identifyperformance the first30 days you will:Become an integral team member and get up to speed onwhoswho in Engineering Tech Support and Field ServiceLearn how Evolv Express andeXpediteproductswork witha focus oncloud and tablet connectivity.LearnMyEvolvPortal tools for Field Service support.Attend weekly Engineering/Service Activity Review meetings.Learn toremotelyconnect to router devices through manufacturermanagement portals.Learnto connect toIoT telecommunication service providers management portals.Within 3 months you will:Review and document the currentconfigurationstatesacrossmultipleproducts.Address intermediate connectivity issues for at least one existing customer.Beginidentifyingrisks and opportunities for improvement in current systemsand expanding geographicaland vertical markets.Document and prototype secure remote connectivity usingGeneric Routing Encapsulation(GRE)/Internet Protocol Security (IPSec)tunnels.Collaborate with product and engineering leadership toaligngoals and priorities.By the end of the first year you will:Establish a well-defined process forqualifying changes to be implemented in the field and/or manufacturing.Lead cross-functional technical initiativesto improve performance cost and customer experience.Serve as the technical authority for IoT and Wi-Fi related decisions balancing innovation with maintainability costand performance.Deliver measurable improvements in system scalability reliability and modularity.Foster a culture of technical excellence mentorship and continuous improvement sites.What is the salary rangeThe base salary range for this full-time position is$119000- $ addition to base salary this role offers a competitive target bonus equity and a comprehensive benefits package. Our compensation ranges aredeterminedbased on factors such as role level location market benchmarks and internal equity.
